The new summer tire Primewell has been introduced

On August 11, in Hefei, China, the presentation of the summer passenger tire Primewell PS26 took place, which will become the new flagship of the brand owned by Giti Tire in the "comfort" segment. The novelty is designed for daily trips and is focused on use in urban conditions, and in the Giti assortment, it joins the Primewell PS16 tire presented in 2023, which is the flagship model of the brand in the "sports" category, and the company says that thanks to these two tires, they will effectively meet the demand from various consumer groups.

Primewell PS26 have a high-strength carcass structure that increases impact resistance, and in all sizes, they are equipped with additional ribs on the sidewalls, which improve resistance to wear when contacting curbs and provide protection for the discs. In addition, the optimized block layout scheme in combination with a hydrophilic rubber compound containing silica improves the reliability of contact with a wet road surface and reduces the likelihood of skidding in difficult weather conditions.

The tread pattern with a variable step has also been improved to reduce the noise level, and the EAS (Energy Absorption System) technology has increased the efficiency of vibration and shock absorption, improving the comfort of the ride when moving on uneven surfaces, which is also facilitated by the use of specially selected materials with high elasticity.

In accordance with current trends, Primewell PS26 have been adapted for use on both vehicles with internal combustion engines and electric cars, and the internal structure with reduced deformability and uniform load distribution in the contact area increase the strength and resource of the tires during operation on electric vehicles with their instantly available high torque and heavy batteries.

The new tires will enter the Chinese market in 27 sizes from 165/65 R15 to 225/60 R18.
