Pon Group acquires German B2C tyre

The Pon Group of companies has been actively investing in the expansion of its own business related to tire products lately. Over the past year, the business has expanded to such an extent that the company's appetites have increased significantly.

It all started in 2010, when Pon Group acquired the company Euro-Tyre, followed by the German company Reifen Gundlach. According to the Senior Vice President of Pon Tyre Group, the company's new acquisition is a stake in German B2C tyre - the largest retail distributor of tire products Goodwheel GmbH.

This business was created in 2006, and most of its revenue comes from the sale of products through www.goodwheel.de. The main customers of this site are Germans, Austrians, and Swiss residents. In addition to Goodwheel tires, the company also sells some other tires.

The decision to acquire an online presence was not accidental. As a representative of Pon Tyre Group says, the company's business has moved to a qualitatively new level, at which it was necessary to increase its presence in the online tire business - a market that grows annually.
