Details about the first tires under the new Envoy brand
Oak Group has revealed details about the first tires under the new Envoy brand, which joins the British company's portfolio alongside the Davanti brand, introduced in 2015. Initially, the tires were showcased at The Tire Cologne 2024 in Germany, and soon they will have their Asian premiere at TyrExpo Asia in Singapore.
The Envoy brand tires will go on sale this year, and at the first stage, the lineup will include four models of different categories:
Envoy Aterna. Tires for compact and medium-sized passenger cars, suitable for both everyday life and long trips. The asymmetric tread pattern with four deep longitudinal grooves is designed to improve handling in rainy weather, the design of the transverse grooves is optimized to reduce noise, and the reduced rolling resistance helps to ensure fuel efficiency. It will be available in 69 sizes from 155/80 R13 to 235/50 R19.

Envoy Motiva UHP. Ultra-High Performance tires for sports driving enthusiasts, designed to improve control and precision at high speeds. Wide interconnected blocks in the shoulder areas and a stable contact patch increase stability when cornering, while wide ring grooves reduce the braking distance on wet roads and improve aquaplaning resistance. Additionally, the silica-based rubber compound enhances grip in rainy weather, and the optimized carcass design provides fast response to steering. The tires will be produced in 61 sizes from 205/55 R17 to 285/35 R22.

Envoy Tordera H/T. Highway tires for SUVs and crossovers, designed for use on both city streets and highways. The tread pattern with deep grooves and sipes accelerates water dispersion, the reinforced construction makes the tires suitable for large vehicles, and the variable pitch tread and closed shoulder grooves reduce noise levels. The lineup will include 13 sizes from 215/70 R16 to 265/60 R18.

Envoy Vertra. Summer commercial tires with increased durability, designed for prolonged and intensive use with frequent stops. The design includes three deep grooves and additional sipes, which help ensure optimal handling on wet roads, even under heavy loads. The tires will be available in 22 sizes from 175/70 R14C to 215/60 R17C.

"The Envoy premiere in Asia is an exciting stage in the history of the new brand, which will help us secure a good position for it in one of the key tire markets in the world," said Peter Cross, CEO of Davanti Tyres. "After many years of working on the brand, it's always nice to talk to exhibition participants and potential partners about new products."
