Details about the new budget tires from Michelin
In Michelin, the details of the new budget tires Tigar Summer 3 that have already gone on sale in the European market have been revealed. These tires are available in the Summer 3 SUV version for crossovers and SUVs, and, as is traditional, they are also released under other brands of the company, such as Kormoran, Orium, Riken, Sebring, Strial, and Taurus.

The new tire features a "dynamic" tread pattern of the asymmetric type, which, according to the company, significantly improved grip on wet roads compared to the previous generation of tires. Thanks to the deep grooves, the efficiency of the tires in rainy weather is maintained for a long time, and according to the EU labeling system, the tires received a rating of "C" for performance in such conditions. Additionally, the use of an updated rubber compound for the tread allowed for a 10% increase in resource, and the rolling resistance was also reduced, resulting in a "B/C" rating for fuel efficiency.
It is also noted that the stiffness of the sidewalls has been optimized, which has increased their strength and improved handling characteristics, and the sidewalls have also received an updated design. Furthermore, indicators are provided that allow monitoring of the degree of wear and notify when the tire needs to be replaced, and the tires also have a high rating of "B" for noise level according to the European classification.

The new Tigar tires in two versions are designed for a wide range of vehicles, from city cars and compacts to crossovers and minivans, and the lineup includes sizes with diameters of 15-20 inches and profile widths from 175 to 285 mm.
