Under the Vredestein brand, new light truck tires are presented
Apollo Tyres has added a new all-season tire, Vredestein Comtrac Cargo A/S, designed for light trucks and vans, to its product line in North America. The manufacturer claims that the new tire features enhanced durability and provides reliable traction in both rain and sunshine, making it "an ideal choice for busy city streets and changing weather conditions".

The design of the new Vredestein tires includes a reinforced breaker belt with two layers of high-strength polyester, while the tread pattern with longitudinal and transverse grooves, as well as lamellas of different shapes, is designed to provide traction in difficult conditions and reduce the risk of aquaplaning. In addition, a functionalized polymer has been added to the tread compound to help the tires perform effectively on wet and snowy roads, and special additives have improved the tires' resistance to wear.

"We understand the specific needs of fleets that deliver goods in cities," said Abhishek Bishit, Deputy Vice President of Apollo in North and South America. "The Vredestein Comtrac Cargo A/S tire is designed to provide stable and reliable traction, so that carriers can work efficiently in any weather".
The new tires will be produced in four sizes, from 185/60 R15C to 235/65 R16C.
