Why does the breaker come out

If you see such damage on your tires, we have bad news - further operation is impossible, as it is extremely dangerous. What can be the reason, we will analyze in today's post.

The breaker is one of the strongest components of the tire. Closely intertwined steel wires are covered with a thin layer of rubber for greater reliability. If the breaker wires are unraveling, don't rush to put the usual "defect" label. The reason for such damage is 99% operational, not manufacturing.

The most common cause of breaker damage may be its corrosion. Which, in turn, can occur in case of damage to the protective rubber layer and tread. At the same time, it is not necessary for this to be a through puncture. Hitting a sharp stone or glass and the process will go full swing.

Among other reasons that also occur frequently, we can mention operation at low pressure and driving with overloads. These factors lead to the fact that the breaker works at the wrong angle and actually gnaws its way through with the sharp edges of the wire.
