Pirelli has confirmed its role as a key technological partner, starting its third year as the sole tire supplier for the Moto2 and Moto3 classes at the Thailand Grand Prix, which opens the 2026 season. While the races in Buriram will externally start with the familiar line-ups, Pirelli's engineers have made significant changes to the rear tires for the Moto2 category. In particular, the soft rear compound SC0 (formerly E0125) now features a revamped carcass, which is intended to optimize its performance.

This update demonstrates how racing experience is used to continually improve even established solutions, while ensuring compliance with new regulatory requirements, such as the minimum pressure of 1.65 bar.
