Pirelli received an award from JAC
The company Pirelli received an award from the JAC Group for cooperation during the creation of the Maextro S800, an ultra-luxurious sedan with new energy sources, developed jointly with Huawei and became the first flagship model of the Maextro brand.
As part of its first joint project with JAC, Pirelli developed three sizes of tires for the S800 based on the P Zero (PZ5) model, all of which are made using Elect technologies (tires with this marking are refined taking into account the features of electric cars, such as instantaneous torque and reduced noise, as well as reduced rolling resistance) and PNCS (a sound-absorbing layer inside the tire improves acoustic comfort). In addition, in two sizes, the tires are also made using the Seal Inside technology and are capable of self-sealing punctures.

"For us, it is a great honor to receive an award for our first collaboration with the JAC Group," said Andrea Maganza, CEO of Pirelli Asia Pacific. "In the context of the rapid development of the Chinese automotive industry, we can not only offer the best tires, including for electric vehicles, but also work together with partners to implement innovations through our flexible customer service system".
The company adds that it will continue to deepen its strategic cooperation with Chinese automakers, using the opportunities of both its global scientific department and local research centers, and "work together to create sustainable mobility of the future".
