Pirelli will provide tires for the Russian electric car "Atom"
JSC "Kama", the developer of the "Atom" electric car, announced that specially for this project, the company Pirelli will start producing tires with the Elect marking in Russia for the first time, which are modified for use on electric vehicles.
Pirelli Elect tires have a number of features, such as reduced rolling resistance, which allows increasing the range without recharging, as well as reduced noise level. In addition, the tires provide optimal traction when exposed to the increased torque of electric cars and are distinguished by increased wear resistance and carrying capacity.
For the "Atom", Pirelli Cinturato P7 tires in size 215/55 R17 will be supplied, which have passed certification in the Russian Federation according to European standards and will be manufactured at the Kirov plant.
