Pirelli has prepared exclusive tires for the Brabus Bodo cabriolet

Pirelli became the exclusive tire supplier for the open-top version of the Brabus Bodo coupe, built on the basis of the Aston Martin Vanquish and named after the tuning studio's founder, Bodo Buschmann. The Bodo Cabriolet is fitted with specially developed 22-inch tires Pirelli P Zero, which are also available to coupe buyers and designed to provide stable grip at high speeds—the cabriolet can accelerate up to 360 km/h—while also ensuring a high level of comfort expected by customers of the German luxury brand.

As part of the project, Pirelli engineers worked closely with Brabus specialists, as the tires had to perfectly match the supercar's technical specifications, such as chassis tuning, wheel rim dimensions, and the performance of the V12 engine capable of accelerating to 100 km/h in three seconds. For this reason, both the tire construction and tread pattern, as well as the rubber compound, were refined, with special attention paid to achieving a balance between high-speed stability, steering precision, and comfort.

For convertibles, tyres are fitted in sizes of285/30ZR22at the front and335/25ZR22at the rear, and Brabus Technical Director Jörn Zander noted that "the successful development of the 22-inch tire combination, created together with Pirelli, reflects our commitment to delivering harmonious handling and ideal vehicle dynamics by paying attention to the tiniest details."

During tyre development, digital simulation technologies were used to optimize their characteristics in a virtual environment, taking into account the vehicle's unique specifications. This was followed by an intensive testing program at the test track in Papenburg, Germany, where parameters such as high-speed handling, etc., were evaluated.

An important consideration was also the aesthetic factor, which is why the tires feature a sidewall design with contrasting elements, while the BB marking indicates that the tires were specifically created for Brabus.
