Pirelli cancelled F1 tyre tests in Bahrain
Pirelli has announced the cancellation of the two-day wet tire test for Formula 1 in Bahrain amid escalating conflict in the Middle East. The company noted that the tests were canceled due to safety concerns after an Iranian missile strike on Manama, the capital of Bahrain, approximately 30 km from the Bahrain International Circuit.
"All Pirelli employees in Manama are safe in their hotels," the company said, adding that they are working to organize their earliest return to Italy and the UK.
