Pirelli announces a change of leader in motorsport

Pirelli officially announced a key rotation in leadership: starting from March 1, 2026, Dario Marraffushi will take over as the head of the motorsport division, taking over from Mario Isola.

The transition period will last until July 1 to ensure full continuity, after which Isola will leave the company to explore new professional horizons. Marraffushi, who joined Pirelli in 2008, has in-depth knowledge of both road tires (where he led R&D) and Formula 1, making him the ideal candidate to continue the work within the strategy overseen by Executive Vice President Giovanni Tronchetti Provera.
