Pirelli has maximally perfected its products in 2014
Keeping pace with the times, this tire manufacturer has brought tire production into full compliance with 266 new requirements imposed on similar products last year. This became known during a press conference at the Geneva Auto Show.
In particular, company representatives noted that 213 improvements fell to the premium sector, which is six percent higher than last year's figure. At the same time, out of the total of 213, about 118 were specially marked, and an indicator appeared on the tires that they were specially brought into compliance with the strict OEM requirements. Thus, Pirelli set a new record, bringing the quality of its products to a completely new level.
In Geneva, where the most modern cars are always presented, this year you could see such supercars as the Lamborghini Aventador, as well as a whole range of the most modern urban crossovers, "shod" in tires from this brand.
At the same time, for some types of tire products, this year's auto show was a real European debut. For example, the restyled version of the Audi Q3 is equipped with completely unfamiliar European, but very high-quality and reliable tires. Other cars, such as the Volvo XC90, as well as the BMW X5M and X6M models, can also boast of such tires (either Pirelli Scorpion or P Zero).
During the event, everyone who visited the Pirelli stand was able to see the company's completely unique development - the "seal-inside" technology. Moreover, as it became known, it is already being actively used.
It has been installed on many innovations from the Volkswagen concern, which debuted in Geneva, as well as on Passat cars shown at last year's Paris auto show. This technology is also present in the new Pirelli Cinturato tires, which have been sold in Europe since the beginning of this year. So, as we can see, Pirelli employees are not receiving their salaries in vain.
