Pirelli uses motorcycle technology for new bicycle tires Angel Urban

The new Angel Urban bicycle tire series will be presented by Pirelli at the Eurobike show in Frankfurt, Germany. The new Angel Urban features a tread pattern and other characteristics similar to Pirelli's motorcycle tires.

The company will present three tire models for three different areas of application. The Angel GT Urban is designed for urban cyclists who ride both in and out of the city, providing excellent handling, grip, and speed.

The Angel DT Urban is aimed at cyclists who ride mainly in cities. This tire is reliable in any weather conditions thanks to the sip-protector, which has many common characteristics with Pirelli's Angel Scooter tire.

Finally, the Angel XT Urban tire was created for cyclists who ride on off-road or gravel paths. The tread has a low-profile central tread and sidewalls with higher and more aggressive blocks for better grip when cornering.
