Pirelli has added a new all-season tire to the Powergy family

Pirelli continues to update the Powergy lineup, which, following the new summer model Powergy 2, has been added with the all-season tire Powergy 2 All Season, designed to handle changing weather conditions. First and foremost, the novelty is intended for daily operation on city streets, and the 3PMSF marking confirms that the tires can provide the necessary grip on snow (not in the northern climate), and for efficiency, the European labeling system received ratings of B and C, depending on the size. In addition, the rubber compound was developed to both enhance traction on wet and snowy surfaces and increase wear resistance, and a new polymer, according to the manufacturer, helps the tires work effectively across a wide temperature range.

A directional V-shaped tread pattern with an optimized void ratio and improved load distribution was designed for the new tires, which simultaneously reduces the risk of aquaplaning and increases traction when driving on snow, and Pirelli notes that the design has also been refined to reduce noise.

3D lamellas of a modified shape are placed across the entire width of the tread, which both reduce the braking distance on various types of surfaces and increase the resource of the tires due to more even wear. In addition to this, the stiffness of the tread is also distinguished by its evenness, which improves the ride comfort of the tires, while also improving the balance of their behavior.

Pirelli Powergy 2 All Season entered the market in 30 sizes from 205/55 R16 to 255/35 R19.
