Petlas releases a new tire, the Petlas Peaklander A/T, designed for use on both asphalt and off-road, joining the mud-terrain model Peaklander M/T, introduced at the beginning of this year.

According to the manufacturer, the new tire features a tread pattern (reminiscent of the recognizable design of BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 tires) that combines optimal comfort on paved roads with improved off-road capabilities, and the 3PMSF (three-peak mountain snowflake) marking indicates that the tires are designed for use on snow, among other things.

Petlas Peaklander A/T tires also feature sidewalls with a reinforced construction that increases resistance to impacts and cuts when operating in harsh conditions, and the shape and arrangement of the blocks have been optimized to reduce noise and improve ride smoothness. Additionally, between the blocks are stone and mud ejectors that stabilize traction and prevent damage.

"The Peaklander A/T is designed for car enthusiasts who are not averse to adventure," emphasized Sema Onur, Petlas Marketing Manager. "This is not just an off-road tire, it's a new solution for those who need safety on snowy roads, durability on off-road, and comfort on asphalt."

The tires are available on the market in three sizes: LT265/70 R16, LT265/70 R17, and LT265/60 R18, and will soon also be available in the following sizes: LT245/70 R16, LT245/65 R17, and LT265/65 R17.
