Recall of 62,000+ two-wheel Metzeler/Pirelli tires

On November 20, 2024, the Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt (KBA), the German Federal Motor Transport Authority, reported on the global recall of some "Tourance Next" and "Tourance Next II" tires produced by Pirelli under the Metzeler brand, as well as "Scorpion Trail II" tires under the Pirelli brand.

In short, a total of 62,526 units worldwide were affected, which is significantly more than initially thought during the initial North American recall of approximately 3,100 tires.
