A new branch of the Intair Research and Testing Center has opened
In Ulyanovsk, on the basis of the tire plant Gislaved, formerly owned by Bridgestone, and now part of the Cordiant cluster, a new branch of the Intair Scientific and Technical Center has been opened, whose departments are also located at production sites in Omsk and Yaroslavl, reports "5 Koleso".
It is noted that the opening of the STC branch is connected with the work on restarting production in Ulyanovsk, which is scheduled for November 2024. The center's employees will be engaged, in particular, in the homologation of raw materials, as well as in the development of new tires that will belong to the premium segment.
The Intair STC is engaged in research and development for the entire tire cluster, and its team included specialists from the plants in Kaluga (formerly owned by Continental) and Ulyanovsk.
