Mistakes of seasonal storage

This article is also about storing tires. Why is it important?
First and foremost, because when buying tires, you want to get the maximum return on the product. The characteristics that the manufacturer has laid down can only be partially revealed. This depends on two main factors

First and foremost, it is, of course, the wrong choice. If you select tires without considering your set of requirements, you are unlikely to be satisfied. A tire is always a compromise, and therefore, you should not expect a first-class snow tire to have high acoustic comfort in urban conditions on asphalt roads.

The second important factor is how tires are stored. Incorrect storage can both completely put the tires out of operation and significantly reduce their characteristics, while significantly shortening their service life. The main mistake and at the same time the most common one can be safely called "storing tires in bags". Bags for tires are only needed for transportation in your car. Their direct purpose is not to let your tires get your trunk and car salon dirty. At the same time, most car owners carefully take freshly washed tires from the tire fitting and carefully pack them in a bag, often twisting a knot for reliability. The worst thing for tires is to go into storage in this form, often even on a balcony under direct sunlight. The greenhouse effect will simply lead to premature cracking and aging of the tire rubber.

The rules for storing tires from all tire manufacturers, including ours, clearly provide for ensuring air ventilation during storage. This is extremely important if you want to preserve the characteristics of your tires.
