Hazardous Coating in the Spring

Don't rush to change your tires. Yes, the warm spring sun gives the feeling that the weather is changing drastically, although sudden snowfalls do just the opposite. Nevertheless, there are many car owners who are already starting to drive on summer tires. Often, this can be related not to early replacement, but, for example, to buying a car and having only a summer set. You want to drive already, and buying tires for 2-3 weeks seems unreasonable, and the tire fitting is extra...

Of course, this rush is fraught with serious problems on the road. We have already written about "black ice". It's worth noting that this phenomenon is characteristic of both autumn and spring. During the transition period, such a phenomenon as "black ice" can occur several dozen times. The most dangerous time period can be considered nighttime and early morning.

A feature of this coating is that the driver may not notice the icing when accelerating and moving, but when changing lanes or braking, they can suddenly lose control.

Don't rush to change your tires, just as you shouldn't delay it either. The optimal average daily temperature threshold when switching from one season to another is considered to be +5 to +7 degrees.
