Review of new summer tires Bars from Uzbekistan
New summer passenger tires Bars Solarflexx have entered the Russian market from the company Birinchi Rezinotexnika Zavodi in Uzbekistan, which, together with Ikon Tyres (Russia) and Tengri Tyres (Kazakhstan), is part of the tire division of the "Tatneft" group.
According to the company, the new product is "the result of research and design work aimed at creating a tire that takes into account the needs of modern motorists", while the double "x" in the name "symbolizes the intensity of technologies and adaptability to various road conditions".
The tires have a number of features that affect their operational characteristics, and, in particular, the special composition of the rubber compound with a balanced distribution of oils and fillers is designed to increase wear resistance, and the central blocks of the tread have a design and angle of inclination of the walls that should improve braking efficiency.
The Bars Solarflexx tread also features an increased tread depth, which should ensure the preservation of a high level of traction throughout the life of the tire, while the shoulder blocks have been additionally reinforced with raised ribs that optimize the distribution of loads and increase the stiffness of the tread, improving handling when cornering. In addition, the wide longitudinal channels connected to the transverse grooves exiting into the open shoulder areas reduce the risk of aquaplaning.
To reduce noise, a "system of geometric elements on the surface of the longitudinal channels" was used, which, according to the manufacturer's idea, creates additional comfort for the driver and passengers.
Solarflexx is designed for small and medium-sized cars, and in Russia, the tires are presented in 24 sizes with a rim diameter from 14 to 18 inches. All tires undergo 200% quality control, i.e., they are checked by an inspector and then automatically on special equipment. Each tire is researched for defects, strength, runout, directional stability, and a whole range of other parameters that affect safety and behavior on the road.
"The appearance on the Russian market of Bars Solarflexx tires expands the choice of high-quality mass segment automotive tires that meet high standards of safety and reliability", the company says.
Birinchi Rezinotexnika Zavodi, located in Angren, is the first and so far the only rubber technical enterprise in Uzbekistan. The site was launched in 2019, today more than 1000 people work at the enterprise, and its capacity is 3 million car tires per year.
According to the company, production processes are currently automated and certified to international ISO standards, which means that products of consistently high quality are released.
