The Eurorepar summer tire range has been updated
The network of technical centers Eurorepar, owned by Stellantis, has started selling summer tires under its own brand Eurorepar Reliance of the third generation, which, as the car manufacturer notes, combines a high level of safety and comfort, and at the same time has an attractive price-quality ratio.
The Eurorepar Reliance Summer 3 tires are offered with three tread patterns and are designed for a wide range of vehicles, from passenger cars to crossovers and commercial vehicles. The partner, as before, is Hankook, and the tread design was borrowed from the Hankook Kinergy Eco, Hankook Ventus Prime3 and Laufenn X FIT Van models.
Compared to the second-generation tires, the size range has been optimized and reduced from 55 to 39 positions, and two "potential" sizes are currently under development. The tires can be installed on 198 models of various types of vehicles, and the lineup includes sizes with a diameter of 14-19 inches and a profile width of 155 to 235 mm.
The company notes that the new generation tires have reduced rolling resistance and reduced noise, and the braking distance of the model that received the Prime3 tread pattern on a wet surface was reduced by 1.8 meters (when braking from 90 km/h; according to the results of the UTAC test). The grip rating on a wet surface according to the Euro marking system has increased from "B" to "A", and the noise has decreased from 71 to 70 dB. The tires are made from a rubber mixture of Highly Enriched Synthetic Silica Compound (HSSC) with a high silica content, which simultaneously increases wear resistance and grip in various conditions, while also improving fuel efficiency, while the tread pattern with four wide longitudinal channels reduces the risk of aquaplaning. In addition, the asymmetric 5-step tread pattern, closed shoulder blocks, and optimized groove depth increase the stiffness of the tread and reduce noise, and the VAI indicator allows you to monitor the uniformity of wear.
Although the introduction of the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) has been postponed, the Reliance Summer 3 tires are already compliant with its requirements, which will prohibit the sale of goods whose production is associated with deforestation.
