The company Oak Tyres has planted over 27,000 trees around the world and offset 1,400 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions. The company has marked further progress towards its goal of offsetting 3,000 tonnes of carbon produced by its van fleet over 12 months with the support of the environmental organization Ecologi.

The positive steps of the tyre wholesaler have helped fund environmental projects around the world. These projects include supporting the construction of small wind farms in India, which reduce carbon emissions by around 14,000 tonnes per year, and protecting lowland peat swamp forests in Indonesia, which absorb and store large amounts of carbon dioxide, helping to combat climate change.
