Bandag, the global leader in tire retreading solutions, has partnered with Tegeta Motors and Bridgestone MEA to establish the first Bandag retreading plant in the Caucasus region. The Tegeta Bandag plant, located in Rustavi, Georgia, represents a significant step towards expanding sustainable mobility practices across the region.

With initial investments of $2 million, the facility is expected to produce up to 5,000 retreaded tires annually, with plans to double this capacity within five years. Construction is set to begin this year, with completion scheduled for the end of 2026.
