New Russian machine for tire stud installation will be supplied to China

The first Russian automatic tire studing machines, which were recently developed at the "DAVYDOVO tire manufacturing company" in the Moscow region, will be supplied for export, and the plant has already received its first order from China, according to the publication "Regions.ru".

The company reported that the new machine can fully replace imported equipment after the departure of foreign brands from the market and does not concede to it in terms of studing quality. At the same time, the cost of the new machine is 40% lower.

The development and testing lasted for two years with the participation of companies from various regions of Russia: mechanical components were supplied from Mytishchi, the frame was processed in Izhevsk, and the software was prepared by specialists from Belgorod.

"We made the machine completely, prepared design documentation for it, " said Semen Kuznetsov, the plant's director. "Now we have our own software, which allows us to add new functions for the next generation of equipment".

According to Nikolai Mazayev, the company's commercial director, "we solved the key problems - ensured uninterrupted production and created our own expertise in the industry. Now we stud tires of any type - from passenger to large-sized, selecting the optimal stud for each model".

Currently, "Davydovo", which operates on the former Michelin facilities, also restores truck tires and produces rubber compounds. In 2026, it is planned to establish the production of rubber crumbs from recycled tires.
