New Research and Development Center from Toyo

Toyo Tire company has announced that it plans to build a new research laboratory building at its plant in Serbia. The center is expected to be operational in January 2027 and will become the new research and development hub for the group in Europe, further strengthening the group's research and development capabilities in Europe.

The European research and development department, currently located in Germany, will be closed at the end of 2026. This move will enable the creation of a global three-way collaboration structure, further strengthening collaboration between the research divisions of Japan, the United States, and Europe, and taking technological development to a new stage.
