New home for Avon motorsport tyre manufacturing equipment

The transformation of the Camac tyre plant in Portugal, recently acquired by Nova Motorsport in a 20 million euro deal, is reportedly nearing completion. More than 200 trucks transported all the production equipment of the British Avon motorsport based in Melksham, Wiltshire, to the plant in Santa Tirso. 

According to Nova Motorsport representatives, "the scale of the investment and the extent of the refurbishment will significantly enhance the quality and capabilities of the existing Camac facility".
