
Nizhnekamskshina doubled net profit
Following the results of the first quarter of 2025, PJSC "Nizhnekamskshina" (part of Kama Tyres) increased its revenue compared to the same period last year by 17.6%, to 3.65 billion rubles, while net profit more than doubled - from 171.1 to 346.72 million rubles, according to the company's RAS reporting.
The company notes that the improvement in indicators is associated with the recovery of the Russian tire market, an increase in consumer interest in domestic products, and active development of the assortment.
"The results of the first quarter confirm the sustainability of our business model and the effectiveness of the strategic course aimed at developing the product line and strengthening positions in the Russian market," said Timur Sharipov, Executive Director of TD "Kama". - PJSC "Nizhnekamskshina" demonstrates stable growth, and we will continue to invest in technology, quality and expansion of the assortment to meet consumer expectations."
"Nizhnekamskshina" produces passenger tires Kama and Viatti, as well as tires for ATVs (Kama Quadro ATM) and bicycles (Kama Velta), and regularly expands its product line. Thus, in recent years, new tires have been introduced for passenger, off-road and special vehicles, and the latest innovations include, for example, the winter tire Viatti Nordico 2 and the updated summer Viatti Strada 2, which, according to the manufacturer, has "improved handling, smoothness and reliability at high speeds".
