Nexen considers building a $1 billion tire plant in the US

Nexen Tire is considering eight southeastern U.S. states as a possible location for a new tire plant worth $1.3 billion. According to an exchange filing published on May 18, Nexen plans to make a decision on the project by the end of 2023 and bring the plant online by 2028-2029.
