Nexen expands tire supply for Kia Seltos

Nexen Tire, which already supplies tires for the Kia Seltos in the Korean market, has announced that it will also equip the crossover in North America and Europe. For each region, tires adapted to local weather conditions and consumer preferences were selected, so in the US and Canada, the Seltos will be equipped with all-season Nexen N’Priz S, and in European countries — summer N’Fera Primus and N’Fera Sport. 

Nexen N’Priz S tires were designed for use on vehicles with powertrains of all types, including hybrids and electric vehicles, and belong to the grand touring category, which means they have an increased lifespan and improved comfort level. At the same time, N’Fera Primus also belong to touring tires, and N’Fera Sport — is a UHP model that has previously shown good results in European tests.

On the Seltos, N’Priz S, N’Fera Primus, and N’Fera Sport tires are installed in sizes with diameters of 16, 16–18, and 19 inches, respectively. 

“By signing a new agreement with Kia, we are not only increasing our supply volumes, but also demonstrating Nexen Tire's ability to offer products adapted to specific road conditions and the needs of drivers in each individual market,” said John Bosco (Hyun Sok) Kim. — In the future, we will continue to strengthen our partnership with automakers and increase supplies of tires adapted to various markets in the original equipment sector. 

Nexen also equips numerous other Kia models, such as the electric crossover EV5, the pickup truck Tasman, and so on.
