Nexen equips Hyundai Avante with tyres

In 2026, Hyundai introduced the eighth generation of the Avante model (known as Elantra in other markets) in Korea after a complete modernization, and not long agoNexen announced that starting with this version, it will equip the sedan with tyres adapted to the climatic and road conditions of various regions around the world where the vehicle will be offered.

On the Korean and North American markets, 16- and 17-inch Nexen N'Priz S all-season tires will be supplied, featuring a tread pattern with 3D sipes designed to ensure grip on dry and wet asphalt, as well as on snow-covered surfaces. In addition, the variable pitch tread reduces noise levels, and a special compound, according to the manufacturer, simultaneously improves fuel efficiency and wear resistance.

In Europe, summer tyres will be fitted as standard on the new model Nexen N’Blue S with a diameter of 16 inches, featuring a design with wide grooves that accelerate water evacuation and enhance safety on wet roads. This model has proven itself in the European OEM market segment and is standard equipment for numerous vehicles in the region, according to Nexen.

Finally, in the Middle East, where tires operate under high temperatures and drivers cover long distances, the new Hyundai will come equipped with 16-inch N'Blue S tires, with an option to choose 18-inch ones as well.Nexen N’Fera Primus, known for their high durability, even under intensive use.

Nexen currently supplies tires to both premium vehicles from Audi, BMW, Mercedes, and Porsche, as well as mass-market models that hold a significant share of the market. The company states that it "plans to steadily expand cooperation with global automakers by supplying them with tires adapted to the specific characteristics of each region."
