A new head of Cordiant's Omsk assets has been appointed

On April 15, the Omsk production site of the Cordiant holding, which includes the Omskshina and Cordiant-Vostok plants, was headed by Vasily Vinogradov, who previously managed the Severstal Steel Solutions enterprise and was responsible for developing strategic areas at Severstal. Prior to this, the Omsk assets of Cordiant were managed for 13 years by Larisa Grishina, who decided to leave the company.

Vasily Vinogradov worked at Severstal for over 20 years, rising from a repair fitter to the general director of one of the divisions, and his area of expertise, as reported, includes all aspects of the work of production enterprises.

"In-depth expertise in strategic development and building business systems will allow us to implement the best practices of Severgroup at Cordiant's Omsk sites, which will improve operational performance," the tire company said.

"I express my sincere gratitude to Larisa Grishina for her hard work and professional leadership of the enterprises over the past 13 years," noted Cordiant's General Director Dmitry Gorbachev. "As of April 15, 2026, the Omsk factories for the production of passenger and truck tires are headed by Vasily Vinogradov, who possesses the expertise of an effective manager and deep technical knowledge. I am confident that his experience and vision will allow us to look at processes in a new way, ensure production efficiency, and produce products of even higher quality, and contribute to building a system of excellent customer experience."

As part of his appointment, Vasily Vinogradov met with the previous director, Larisa Grishina, as well as with the Governor of the Omsk Region, Vitaly Khotsenko. The meeting with the governor took place during the head of the holding's visit to the Omsk Region, during which plans for production development, prospects for cooperation, participation in the federal project "Clean Air" and other topics were discussed.

"I thank you for the trust placed in me, I am confident that together with the team of enterprises, we can achieve all the goals set for the Omsk production site, including increasing production efficiency, bringing product quality to a new level, and strengthening the social and economic significance of enterprises for the region," Vinogradov said.
