A new president has been appointed to Linglong

On March 16, 2026, Zhou Linkun took over as president and CEO of Linglong Tires, with his predecessor Wang Feng, who had led the company since 2001, set to become the chairman of the board of the Chinese tire manufacturer.

Zhou Linkun was born in 1974 and after graduating from the prestigious Zhejiang University, he worked for several international consulting and IT companies, such as Arthur Andersen, IBM, and Hewlett-Packard. Until recently, he held a leadership position at Deloitte China.

According to Chinese media, Wang Feng is the son of Wang Si Cheng, the founder of Linglong Tire, whose family continues to control the company. Wang Feng was born in 1972 and began working at Linglong after graduating from university. In 1996, he became an import and export manager, and in 2001, at the age of 29, he was appointed CEO of the company.

In the early 2000s, with the rapid development of the Chinese automotive industry, the local tire industry also received a boost, which was utilized by Linglong, among others, with sales reaching 10 billion yuan in 2008. In 2016, the company's shares began trading on the Shanghai Stock Exchange.

Today, the tire manufacturer owns such brands as Linglong, Leao, Atlas, and Evoluxx.
