A new general director of "Cordiant" has been appointed

On February 8, 2026, Dmitry Gorbachev took the position of General Director of Cordiant JSC, while Vadim Volodin, who had headed the company since 2016, decided to leave the company and focus on personal projects, the tire manufacturer's press service reported.

Gorbachev worked for companies such as Severstal and Power Machines, and in 2022-2023, he held the post of First Deputy Governor of the Vologda Region. After that, he headed the operational efficiency and innovation management of Severgroup (which acquired Cordiant in 2024), and in December 2024, he moved to the tire holding company as Deputy General Director for Strategic Development and Business Systems.

"The Cordiant holding company is a key player in the Russian tire market, possessing unique expertise in domestic production and advanced experience of leading international companies Bridgestone and Continental [the Russian factories of both companies now belong to Cordiant],” Gorbachev said. “Among the main tasks facing the company in the near future are building a system of excellent customer experience, finding new growth points, and increasing business efficiency."

Cordiant's General Director, Alexey Mordashov, thanked Vadim Volodin for his "significant contribution to the development of Cordiant and the strengthening of the holding company's leading positions in a changing market).
