According to recently released online analytics, ChemChina is the main contender for a stake in Pirelli. This Chinese company, which owns the well-known tire brand Aeolus, is currently planning to acquire a stake in Camfin, which will give the Chinese control over the company and allow them to take over the entire Pirelli business.

Camfin currently owns 26% of Pirelli's shares. If these shares, owned by Rosneft and Pirelli's holding company, are transferred to ChemChina, the banking institutions Intesa Sanpaolo and UniCredit, which own the remaining shares, will not have significant influence over the business.

Representatives of the Reuters news agency report that Camfin will sell all its shares for 15 euros per share. However, due to rumors, the share price on the market is constantly growing, so the price may not be final yet. As for the Pirelli holding, the brand's representatives currently deny the possibility of selling their stake.
