The production of new studded tires Viatti has begun

The Nizhnekamsk complex of Kama Tyres announced the release of the installation batch of new winter tires Viatti Nordico 2 in sizes 185/60 R14, 195/60 R15, 195/65 R15 and 225/55 R17.

«The new line of the Viatti brand is presented in a studded version — it is the "toothed" winter models that are in greatest demand among domestic car owners in winter, — said Timur Sharipov, executive director of Trading House "Kama". — This trend is confirmed by the sales figures of Kama Tyres. So, according to the results of last year, the share of studded tires from all purchased winter passenger and light commercial models was 81%»

The novelty replaces in the Viatti assortment the Brina Nordico tire, which regularly enters the list of the most popular models of the brand, and the main visual difference was the tread pattern: in the tires of the previous generation it is asymmetric, and in Nordico 2 it is directional.

The tires are also equipped with new studs with a steel body with increased wear resistance and a tungsten carbide core. According to the manufacturer, the shape of the body helps the studs "to work effectively in all directions and have a high degree of retention during operation", and "the effectiveness of the new stud is 25% higher in terms of characteristics on ice (compared to Viatti Brina Nordico)".

Installation batch is called "the first industrial batch produced to confirm readiness for serial production launch".
