The delivery of Advance passenger tires has started
On January 27, Guizhou Tyre shipped its first container of passenger car tires, marking its entry into a new segment. The Advance-branded tires were manufactured at a plant in Vietnam and exported, marking the company's foray into the international market.
A few days later, the company held a presentation in Ho Chi Minh City for its Advance passenger tire lineup, which included summer tires in the HP and UHP classes, as well as models for SUVs in the H/T, A/T, and R/T categories. Additionally, the company showcased its E-GuardMax tires, designed specifically for electric vehicles, as well as tires for cold weather conditions.

The project to launch passenger tire production in Vietnam has invested around $228 million, and the first tire in the new category was produced in July last year. The company plans to produce 6 million passenger car tires per year, which will be supplied to Europe and North America, among other markets, under the Samson brand.
"The successful shipment of the first container is a crucial step in the development of Guizhou Tyre in the passenger tire market, as we have transitioned from production to sales and begun implementing our strategy in a new segment," said Huang Gege, chairman of the company's board of directors.
Guizhou Tyre also produces tires for trucks and buses, as well as agricultural and other specialty vehicles.
