At YAZH, they revived the company's history with AI

To celebrate the 93rd anniversary of the Yaroslavl Tire Plant, the company's employees revived the plant's history with the help of artificial intelligence and created an animated video about the production site's history, from the release of the first tire to the present day, using photographs from family archives. The musical theme was a song about the plant, recorded by Vladimir Korablyov, a lubricator from the repair shop.

The plant's birthday is considered to be November 7, 1932, when the first two tires were produced. In the 1930s, the plant, which was then part of the Yaroslavl Rubber-Asbestos Combine (YARAK), produced tires for the first Soviet trolleybuses, and during World War II, it was the only enterprise in the country producing tires.

In the post-war years, the Yaroslavl Tire Plant became the flagship of the country's tire industry, and its products were widely exported abroad. The plant was the largest in Europe and the fourth in the world, and in the 1950s, it began producing tubeless tires for such cars as the "Pobeda", "Volga" and ZIM. The plant also developed tires with removable treads, and in the 1960s, it produced tires for new cars under the "Zhiguli" brand. In addition, the Yaroslavl Tire Plant was the first to use synthetic rubber, and in 1981, the 200 millionth tire was produced, whose assembler later received the title of Hero of Socialist Labor.

Currently, the plant is part of the "Cordiant" holding and produces passenger tires Cordiant, as well as commercial tires Cordiant Professional.
