New winter tires Nexen enter the market

Nexen Tire held a presentation at The Tire Cologne 2024 exhibition of the new winter tire Nexen WinGuard Sport 3, designed for use in regions with a mild climate and not suitable for northern latitudes.

The novelty features a directional V-shaped tread pattern, designed to improve handling in various cold weather conditions, while the increased tread width and contact patch increase traction. Additionally, the densely grouped blocks in the central section, combined with 3D lamellas, increase the stiffness of the tread and reduce braking distances, including on wet roads. Finally, the special rubber compound maintains elasticity at low temperatures, allowing the tires to work reliably in harsh conditions.

Nexen WinGuard Sport 3 tires are designed for a wide range of vehicles, such as BMW X3, X4, X5 and X6, Mercedes-Benz A- and V-Series, Audi Q3 and Q7, Volkswagen Tourareg, T-Cross and Tiguan, Hyundai iX35, Tucson, Kona and Kauai, Renault Captur and Grand Scenic, Ford Galaxy, Focus, Kuga and Fiesta, as well as many others.

The Cologne exhibition also featured the premiere of the studded tire Nexen WinGuard ice 3 for harsh winters, details of which will be announced later.
