New GT Radial tires for crossovers enter the market

Giti has introduced new summer tires GT Radial TouringActive, designed for crossovers and SUVs, including large-sized ones, combining improved comfort with a long service life, as well as providing high traction on both dry and wet surfaces when driving on city streets and highways.

The tires have an asymmetrical tread pattern, created for quick water drainage from the contact patch and improved stability in turns on dry asphalt, as well as optimized for increased smoothness and reduced noise, making long trips more comfortable. At the same time, the design has been improved to prevent uneven wear and, together with the optimized rubber compound, increases the tire's resource.

The sidewalls feature the EV Ready marking, indicating that the tires are equally suitable for vehicles with internal combustion engines and electric cars, and another feature of the novelty is reduced rolling resistance, which increases energy consumption efficiency.

In the GT Radial tire range, the tires join lines such as SportActive and ClimateActive (sports and all-season tires, respectively), and the size range includes 12 positions from 245/50 R18 to 265/40 R21. According to the European classification system, the tires received “B/C” for fuel efficiency, “B” for wet grip, and “A/B” for external noise level. Sizes with speed indices V, W, and Y are available.
