On Belarusian tires, a Quality Mark appeared

On the tires produced by OAO "Belshina", a new symbol has appeared - the State Quality Mark of the Republic of Belarus, which was assigned to Belshina Astarta SUV tires of sizes 215/60 R17 and 225/65 R17 (models Bel-402 and Bel-411, respectively), which are supplied for equipping vehicles of the company "Belji".

As reported to the publication "Shinnik" by the head of the design and technology department of the mass tire plant "Belshina" Tamara Boyko, in early February, documents were received for applying the new mark to products, after which the first marked tires were manufactured, which can now be seen in the company's museum exposition.

In 2024, the Year of Quality was announced in Belarus, and a competition was held to assign the Quality Mark to goods of various categories. "Belshina" also submitted its application. "There were many evaluation criteria," Boyko noted. "Comparative tests, voting, and even a survey on a well-known automotive portal were conducted. In addition to the direct quality, the number of tires supplied to the consumer was also taken into account. As a result, based on the positive results received, these two passenger tires were awarded the Quality Mark".

Tires with the new symbol have already been sent to Moscow to the VDNH, where they became part of the "Quality Mark" exposition in the Belarusian pavilion.
