At ASK, an audit by the Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsiya) was carried out

The Altai Tire Plant reported that a successful audit by the Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsia) was conducted at two of the company's sites - in Yaroslavl, where the engineering center - design department is located, and in Barnaul, where aircraft tires are produced - for compliance with the requirements of the Federal Aviation Regulations in relation to the two statuses of the enterprise: as a developer and manufacturer of aviation equipment.

"The audit covered all key processes related to the creation of aircraft tires: from the organization of raw materials procurement and personnel competence to production equipment, testing, and interaction with customers," the company reports, adding that "as a result of the control measures, no comments of the first level that would prevent the receipt of certificates were identified. A number of comments of the second level have been promptly eliminated and accepted by Rosaviatsia".

Currently, Rosaviatsia is formalizing internal regulatory information, and the receipt of certificates is scheduled for the end of March this year.

"The successful passage of the audit guarantees the company the opportunity for further serial production and implementation of aircraft tires, ensuring the needs of the Russian aircraft fleet and preserving the status of AShK as the only manufacturer in this segment in the country," the company notes.

Earlier, it was reported that AShK would develop tires for Airbus and Boeing.
