Built for off-road
31 july 2009
The BFGoodrich company has launched a new off-road tire (4WD series) - Mud-Terrain T/A KM2, into serial production.
This tire will replace its predecessor, the Mud-Terrain T/A KM model, which is still successfully sold worldwide.
During the development of the new tire, BFGoodrich engineers focused on increasing the durability and wear resistance of the tread, so that the tire can overcome any obstacles on hard, uneven, muddy, and rocky roads. The result of this work is an original tread pattern with aggressive tread lugs on the sidewalls, a cut- and puncture-resistant rubber compound, and reinforced cord layers in the sidewalls of the tire. These three design features have already proven their effectiveness during the BFGoodrich Krawler TEK off-road racing.
