Mitas is to be a partner of the Roof of Africa race

The company Mitas will be a partner of the oldest hard-enduro race - Roof of Africa - which will take place from November 28 to 30 in Lesotho. It is expected that more than 500 pilots will take part in the competitions on the African mountain range, and Mitas will offer, among other things, tire maintenance services.

"The new partnership brings together two brands that have historically been associated with hard-enduro racing," noted Gustavu Pinto Teixeira, head of the Mitas motorcycle tire division. "I couldn't think of a better way to show how important enduro racing is to us than by supporting the riders during the Roof of Africa".

The Roof of Africa race has been held since 1967, and it attracts the most famous riders from around the world, who compete in a series of ascents, often exceeding the 3,000-meter mark. The route, which stretches from 250 to 350 km and is covered by riders over three days, runs through the picturesque Drakensberg Mountains.
