The Kia PV5 minivan is equipped with Nexen tires
Nexen Tire has become the supplier of tires for the original equipment of the Kia PV5, which is positioned as the first vehicle of the Korean brand in the PBV (Purpose Built Vehicle) class, built on the global modular platform E-GMP, suitable for adaptation to various fields of application. This means that the PV5 can be used as a family car or as a vehicle for camping or professional activities, and the manufacturer notes that the minivan is expected to be a key model for urban logistics and the mobility industry as a whole.
For the PV5, the summer tires Nexen N'Blue S were homologated, which became the first in the company's lineup to be manufactured using the Sidewall Aero Dynamic technology, and the improved aerodynamics of the sidewalls increases energy consumption efficiency, allowing to increase the range of electric vehicles and bring the tires in line with the increasingly stringent environmental protection standards. Previously, N'Blue S had already been approved for equipping a number of cars from European brands, which, according to Nexen, confirms their quality and good market position.

Currently, Nexen is collaborating with many automotive brands, including in the USA and Europe, "having established itself as a reliable supplier in a short time", and in the Kia lineup, the company's tires are installed on such electric cars as EV3, EV4, EV6, and EV9, as well as on strategic global models like PV5 and Tasman.
"The supply of tires for the primary equipment of the Kia PV5 confirms our technological competitiveness in the market of future mobility, which is characterized by a growing level of electrification and personalization," said John Bosco (Hyun Suk) Kim, CEO of Nexen. "We continue to strengthen our partnership with global automakers and contribute to the development of the future mobility ecosystem".
For the Kia PV5, tires are supplied in the size 215/65 R16.
