Michelin USA Recalls Classic Tires for the Second Time

In the USA, Michelin North America, Inc. is recalling certain XVS and TRX tires that were provided as replacement tires for a previous recall in 2022 (specifically, NTDSA refers to the recall as 22T023). The problem is that the DOT symbol is missing from the tire sidewalls. 

Tires without the DOT symbol "may be used in inappropriate conditions, increasing the risk of an accident," as claimed by the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). A total of 46 TRX and XVS tires in sizes 240/55 VR 415 94W, 240/55 VR 390 89W, and 185/80R15 93V.
