Michelin collaborates with Beontag in the field of intelligent tires

Beontag, a company known for producing RFID and NFC products, has partnered with Michelin to integrate Beontag technology into "millions of new commercial and passenger tires over the next two years and beyond".

The embedded UHF tag, consisting of a jointly developed capsule and antenna using state-of-the-art chips and materials, will enable "full traceability of all new tires, including production date and storage location, distribution, mounting and replacement, retreading and much more, throughout the tire's entire lifecycle".
