Michelin Primacy 4+

This year, the Primacy 4+ model from the French manufacturer Michelin has appeared on the shelves of tire centers, which is already familiar to everyone. Let's figure out what the difference is from the regular Primacy 4 and whether it's worth considering this tire for purchase.

The Primacy line is designed for comfortable and safe driving, i.e. standard car routes work - school - home, without any night racing. The main emphasis in this tire is on safety, but with an interesting feature - maintaining traction characteristics over several seasons. The manufacturer claims that the tire can be driven safely not only in a new state but also when worn. The tread pattern has remained unchanged, and improvements were achieved through a new rubber compound. The new compound, due to the optimal combination of new elastomers and plasticizers, maintains traction on wet asphalt, even after several seasons of operation. In addition, engineers have worked on the distribution of pressure in the contact patch, and the new MaxTouch tire structure has allowed improving the ride of the tire.

Since the external appearance of the tire has been preserved, it was decided to add a "+" to the name of the tire on the sidewall. The tire will be produced in the most popular sizes, starting from 16-inch mounting diameter and up to 19-inch. It will suit both a small sedan and a medium-sized crossover. If you need a premium tire on which you can drive safely throughout the entire service life, and you understand that such technologies cost money, then these tires are definitely worth your attention.
