Michelin presents a plan for the production of aircraft tires and welcomes new activity in Bourges

The site in Bourges (France) is the only Michelin European plant specialized in manufacturing aircraft tires, and the company reports that over the past two years, production has grown significantly, leading to certain organizational issues, as well as the need to recruit and train nearly 240 permanent employees in 2022 and 2023.

To address these challenges, Michelin has launched a collaborative project, under which various stakeholders have developed a five-year plan aimed at improving the efficiency of the Bourges plant. In addition, the plant is expanding its activities and includes the Michelin Inflatable Solutions division.
