The North American market is introducing new regional truck tires, the Michelin X Multi Z2, designed for industries such as food logistics, urban freight delivery, and more. The manufacturer claims that the new versatile tires combine optimal durability with reliable traction in challenging weather conditions, allowing industry participants to work efficiently in sectors where schedules are critically important.

Michelin X Multi Z2 for all axes of freight transport are manufactured using high-tech materials, and compared to the Michelin XZE2, the resource has been increased by 20%, and rolling resistance has been reduced by 17%, while the economy of the tires is confirmed by the SmartWay certificate from the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

The improvement in performance was made possible by the use of the self-renewing tread technology Regenion, which not only provided an increase in operational resource and energy efficiency but also guarantees stable traction properties throughout the life of the tire. Additionally, the 3PMSF marking indicates the tires' suitability for winter conditions, and the high-strength cord (Powercoil technology) has increased the reliability of the carcass.

"In the world of freight delivery and logistics, the stakes are high, and your service is as reliable as your tires," noted Pierluigi Cumo, Vice President of B2B Marketing at Michelin North America. "The Michelin X Multi Z2 tires are designed to help fleets meet their customer commitments. Urban mobility and logistics are evolving thanks to the efficiency of carriers, and the new tires will allow them to keep moving when every minute counts."

Michelin X Multi Z2 will be available on the North American market in sizes 11R22.5 and 295/75R22.5.
